Official Results from the 2018 Wendell Foster 5K

Turnout for the inaugural Wendell Foster 5K was incredible.  Roughly 275 runners tackled the downtown Owensboro course and we have the official results from the race.  And, yes!  Yours truly snagged a second place medal in the Men 45-49 age division!!

LOL!  Angel and I had decided that, since we had a really busy week, that we were going to emcee the opening ceremonies of the race and casually jog the 5K.  That's until I saw the medals and decided that I really wanted to win one!

A lot of other folks won them too!  And I have to give massive props to Jeff Scott and Ciara Scott.  They had the fastest times of anyone (they both finished with an astounding time of 17 minutes and 57 seconds).  As the top male and female, each snagged a cash prize of $100!
