OPD Investigating Armed Robbery at Discount Liquors in Owensboro

The Owensboro Police Department is asking for your help.  They're investigating an armed robbery at Discount Liquors off Hwy 54 here in Owensboro.

According to OPD, last evening (Wednesday, August 8th) at approximately 10:33 pm, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Discount Liquors at 3101 Alvey Park Drive East.  According to officials, the suspect, described as a Black or Hispanic
male, assaulted the clerk and demanded money before fleeing the business.

Detectives are currently investigating and anyone with additional information can call
OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-
687-8484.
