After two recent robbery calls, the Owensboro Police Department is asking for your help. The two (separate) incidents occurred on Friday, January 24th in the parking lot of Wesleyan Park Plaza. The first call came in at 1:00am and the second at 7:20pm.

Both cases involved a while male subject wearing a dark colored jacket who approached his victims as they went to their vehicles in the parking lot. Each victim reported being threatened with a weapon as the suspect demanded money. The suspect (s) were able to flee on foot after taking money.

The OPD want you to stay safe and offers these tips:

- Be aware of your surroundings

- If approached by a stranger in a threatening manner, make noise by either yelling or honking your vehicle's horn, lock your vehicle doors and seek assistance by going towards others or calling 9-1-1
