Contemporary Christian rock group Needtobreathe recently stopped by the Grand Ole Opry and gave, as you saw and heard, an extraordinary performance of "Washed by the Water."

The first and only other time I saw them perform was when they were guests on The Late Show with David Letterman back in April.

And, based on Dave's introduction, they'd been there before. Letterman's a fan.

And why not? Lead vocalist Bear Reinhart has one of the best voices I've ever heard and his brother Ben along with Seth Bolt are excellent musicians.

You know, when I look for Opry shows that I want to see, I usually look at the headliners, like anyone would.

But these less familiar acts have proven to be just as amazing on stage as their more well-known counterparts.

Time to do things a little differently, I'd say.
