Owensboro Blue Bridge Closing July 5th

Next Tuesday, July 5th they are shutting down the Owensboro blue bridge right after the 4th of July holiday, the good news is its shutting down after the 4th of July so you'll still be able to go across the river to your favorite firework store that I'm sure WBKR will be broadcasting from to get your fireworks for your celebration. The bad news is come July 5th the bridge will be closed for roughly 3 months for deck repair.  So if you know of any family or friends that is traveling this weekend or maybe sometime this Summer please be sure to let them know all about it.  Have a safe & Happy 4th of July from all of us at WBKR!
