Owensboro Catholic Football Coach Edge Resigns

When the Owensboro Catholic Aces football team opens up their 2018 season, the sideline will look a little different. 

Longtime Head Coach John Edge has resigned at OCHS and he will take over the football program at South Spencer High School across the river in Rockport, Indiana.

Edge's tenure at Catholic is the best in school history with a record of 130-53, five regional titles, and three KHSAA Class 2A State runner-up teams. Edge graduated from Catholic in 1994. He served as a defensive coordinator at Owensboro High School and at Catholic. He became head coach at Catholic in 2003.
