Owensboro Chamber Appoints Jim DeMaio as VP/Membership
Jim DeMaio is the new VP/Membership Development at the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce. You may know him as a realtor for Century 21. In fact, he won the Century 21 Masters Award for Production in 2012. He is a director at-large for the Kentucky Association of Realtors, and according to the Chamber, “… was pivotal in securing their annual conference moving to Owensboro in 2015″.
In 2011, he was the President of the Greater Owensboro Realtor Association as well.
He is a graduate of the Emerge Owensboro leadership development program.
“We are excited to bring Jim on-board to the Chamber team. Our goals in this position are to expand our leadership and advocacy efforts, as well as improve upon our membership services. We have tremendous strength in numbers through our members, and Jim will bring a great passion for the purpose of the Chamber in this new role,” said Amy Jackson, President and CEO.
Founded in 1913, the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce has worked for a century to provide valuable benefits and services to member business and individuals. Today, with a membership base of more than 900, the Chamber is a critical partner in community and business development initiatives, serving as the center of business advocacy for the Greater Owensboro region.
