Owensboro Christmas Lights Will Turn Off for Newtown Tribute

Communities around the country have been wondering all weekend how best to pay tribute to those lives lost in the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut on Friday.

Well, the City of Owensboro has decided to turn off its Christmas lights on the night of December 19th, this Wednesday. City officials have asked that citizens of Owensboro follow suit.
