My dear friend Suzanne Northern Blazar knows how to give a birthday gift.  And this year she gave her husband Joe a gift that's now part of country music history!  She gave him tickets to George Strait's final concert in Dallas.  And she took some amazing photos and agreed to share them with us and you.  Check these out!

Then, it was showtime.  And King George took the stage.  I love this photo!  The crowd is going CRAZY!!

Suzanne made sure she captured the moment George Strait took the stage . . . and everyone else did too.  Check out the crowd.  Everyone has a cell phone in the air!

And some of the biggest names in country music joined George for his big concert finale.  Jason Aldean was there . . .

Eric Church . . .

Sheryl Crow . . .

Martina McBride . . .

Alan Jackson . . .

By the way, George and Alan performed "Murder on Music Row" and told the crowd that it's still occurring today.  As you can imagine, the Texas crowd cheered and loudly agreed.

Then Miranda joined in the action . . .

Kenny Chesney showed up . . .

And, then, the cowboy rode away . . .

He rode away . . . in front of 104, 793 fans.  George Strait's farewell concert set a brand new record for concert attendance in the United States.  It's just further proof that King George's legacy in country music will stand the test of time.

And, speaking of time, what a great time Suzanne and Joe had in Dallas. The photos are proof.  Happy Birthday, Joe!  It had to have been absolutely awesome!
