Owensboro Filmmaker P.J. Starks’ New Film Series Begins Saturday [VIDEO]

Owensboro filmmaker P.J. Starks has been enjoying great success with his Unscripted film series project. His next series–Unscripted 3: The Next Indie Film Xperience–begins Saturday at the Daviess County Public Library.

Like the first two, the third installment will be a six-week series offering the best in local and regional filmmaking. However, P.J. promises, this will be no ordinary screening.

The event has expanded to include performances by local musical guests who kick off each screening. Special appearances by local featured artists in various crafts will also be featured.

Live interactive audio commentary, a series trademark, will return so that audience members can hear, firsthand, about all the facets of filmmaking from the producers themselves.

Drinks and popcorn, provided by local vendors, will be free.

On January 25th, zombie fans take note. The Unscripted series will feature Unscripdead: Zombie Night 2 with special prizes and a zombie costume contest. Plus, P.J.’s brilliant Project Deathpack–the promotional documentary for last September’s zombie run–will be featured.

On February 22nd, films produced by the Unscripted 3: Indie Film School Xperience teams will be featured. The audience will vote for its favorite and we will have our first ever winner of the Unscripted Audience Choice Award.
