Owensboro Fire Department Celebrating 150th Anniversary Saturday

The Owensboro Fire Department began serving the community in 1866. They are ready to celebrate with a big 150th birthday party this Saturday at the Owensboro Convention Center.

OFD will be hosting a large fire service display inside the convention center with historical and modern fire equipment, including vehicles and fire boats. There will also be demonstrations, safety house, fire extinguisher demo, inflatables for the kids, and food!

The event will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, August 6th. This is a FREE event!
