Owensboro Fire Fighters & Local 870 Hosting Stop Drop & Run 5k

Our local firefighters are always working hard for the citizens of Owensboro-Daviess County.  Now they are inviting others to join in on the fight at the Stop, Drop, and Run 5k.

The First Annual 5k run will take place on Saturday, July 7, at 8 a.m. at Moreland Park.  Proceeds from the run will benefit families in our community after they have experience a fire.

The cost of the run is just $20 and includes a t-shirt if you get registered before Thursday, June 21.  Youth 17 and under cost is $15 until June 21.

Participants may sign up to day of the event but will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
