Owensboro Girl Competes for a Chance to Sing in Off Broadway Show [Video]

Kennedy McCollam had a very busy March.  In addition to being crowned the champion of Theatre Workshop's Owensboro's Got Talent contest, she entered a contest that gives her the chance to sing in an Off Broadway show in New York City.  And YOU can help make that dream come true for her!  All you have to do is vote.

The Off Broadway musical Daddy Long Legs launched a contest called Give a Girl Her Chance.  To enter, Kennedy submitted video of herself singing the musical's song "The Secret of Happiness."  And, naturally, she slayed it.  WATCH!

One lucky girl is going to get the chance to perform "The Secret of Happiness" following a performance of Daddy Long Legs at the Davenport Theatre.  She'll also receive a vocal session with Megan McGinnis (the star of the show) and Paul Gordon, who wrote the music and lyrics.  Plus, the winner will receive round-trip airfare to New York City and hotel accomodations.  And we think it would be AMAZING if Kennedy won!
