Owensboro on YouTube: DC Band of Pride Featured in Murray State Video Magazine [VIDEO]

I love the "Owensboro on YouTube" feature, but I gotta be honest, it's been slim pickings of late. But one of YouTube's newest videos ends the drought on a high note. (No pun intended...well, maybe just a little.)

It comes as no surprise to anyone in this community when the Daviess County High School Band of Pride is recognized for achievement. Its tradition of excellence dates back multiple decades.

It wasn't lost on Moon Mullins, who featured the band in a recent blog. And it hasn't been lost on Roundabout U, an online video magazine that originates at Murray State University.

Its most recent episode spotlights the DC Band of Pride, plus contains interviews with Director of Bands DuWayne C. Dale  and Principal Matt Mason. It also features a video of the band preparing for Bands of America.
