Just down the road from Owensboro about 30 or so miles lies Jerusalem Ridge, the highest point (I'm guessing) in Rosine, Kentucky. It's where the great Bill Monroe learned his trade.

His genius blankets this part of the world and his name is on the Monroe Mandolin Camp, conducted Saturday as part of a concert put on by the International Bluegrass Museum.

Check out this awesome selection from that concert--Mark Royal, Danny Clark, and Don Stanley performing Bill Monroe's "Tallahassee."
