Owensboro Police Investigating Boiler Room Robbery

The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a robbery at the Boiler Room in the Cigar Factory Mall.

At around 1:38 Wednesday afternoon, police responded to a call at the Boiler Room regarding a robbery.

Investigators released the photo you see below of two male subjects who fled on foot after one of them took a cash box.

Here is the official press release from the Owensboro Police Department:

"On August 26, 2015, at approximately 1:38 p.m., the Owensboro Police
Department responded to a robbery call at the Boiler Room Bar, located at 1100
Walnut Street.

The investigation has revealed that two male subjects fled on foot after one of
them forcibly removed a cash box from an employee. There were no injuries
reported.

Investigators are releasing a still photo from surveillance footage in an attempt
to identify these persons of interest.
