At around 11PM on Tuesday, January 5th, Owensboro police responded to a firearm discharge call at 2126 Carpenter Drive.

Here's what we've learned from an Owensboro Police Department press release:

When officers arrived, they observed that at least two rounds had struck the residence.
The three adults inside, thankfully, reported no injuries.

Within minutes, OPD located and stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Hermitage Drive that was believed to have been involved in this incident.

Upon further investigation, the police learned that the driver of that vehicle, Khalil D. Hinton,
acted jointly with a female juvenile as he drove to and from this scene. The
juvenile fired the weapon at the residence with the knowledge that it was
occupied.

Khalil D. Hinton is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on
the below charges. The female juvenile is lodged at the Warren County Juvenile
Detention Center.
