The Owensboro Rage (1-0) start the Continental Indoor Football League regular season with a home victory over the Kentucky Drillers (0-1) by a score of 52 to 18 at the Ramada Inn Field at the Next Level Sports Facility.

The Rage was lead by former U of L quarterback Bill Ashburn, who went 11 for 21 with five touchdown passes, adding one rushing while throwing only one interception on the night. Rage receiver Damarcus Ganaway had 6 receptions for 36 yards with two touchdowns while Dray Masson had four catches for 80 yards with three touchdown catches. Masson also added a ten yard touchdown run.

The Rage will next travel to Pikeville to again face the Kentucky Drillers on February 18th with a 6:00pm (CST) kick-off at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.
