I’ve mentioned before that one of my favorite musical works is Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue”. But that is not the only work of Gershwin that I like. From “Sometime” to an “American in Paris”, there are many works by Gershwin that I enjoy.

If you enjoy the works of Gershwin as well, then you may want to check out the Owensboro Symphony Chorus annual dinner concert. This year’s concert’s theme is “An Evening of George Gershwin. The Chorus, conducted by Maestro Nicholas Palmer, with Dr. Diane Earle as pianist, will perform song by George and Ira Gershwin, such as “summertime”, “I Got Rhythm”, “Embraceable You” , and more.

The concert will have two shows, Monday, March 3rd at 7pm and Tuesday, March 4th at 7pm. The programs will be held at the Settle Memorial United Methodist Renewal and Outreach Center. Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. To make reservations, call 270-684-0661.
