Owensboro Woman Competes on Wheel of Fortune

If you were tuned into Wheel of Fortune this evening, you saw Owensboro's Mariah Abell competing on the show!  Wheel of Fortune is celebrating its 35th anniversary and, coincidentally, Mariah recently celebrated her 35th birthday.  And the coincidence must have been a lucky charm.  She won some amazing prizes!

Mariah, who is a freelance writer and graduate student, absolutely rocked out her appearance.  She solved a CHECK puzzle (Rain, Baggage, Blank, Gut) and a Toss Up puzzle (Sliced Honeydew) . . . and won prizes totaling $13,500, including a trip to Hawaii.

Congratulations, Mariah!  She'll be on the morning show with Angel and me Wednesday morning to chat about her national television debut and her big win!
