Owensboro’s Got Talent: Theatre Workshop Hosts $1000 Talent Contest

Here's your chance to show off your talent and have a shot at winning a $1000 grand prize!  Theatre Workshop of Owensboro is hosting a 4-week long talent contest called Owensboro's Got Talent.  And here's how you can sign up to compete!

Owensboro's Got Talent begins on Saturday, February 20th.  There will be three weeks of preliminary competition followed by the grand finale on Saturday, March 12th.  Each of the first three weeks, 12 acts will take the stage to compete for spots in the finals.  And, inspired by the popular America's Got Talent, Theatre Workshop's contest will also have a panel of celebrity udges.  The judges will get to vote and so will YOU!  At each show, audience members will be allowed to vote for their favorite act of the night via live texting!  The show's going to be fun, entertaining and interactive.

Owensboro's Got Talent is open to all ages and will showcase talents of all kinds: singing, dancing, acting, magic, and more.  Heck, you could even eat fire or juggle chainsaws.  Well, okay.  Probably not.  But if you think you have what it takes to claim the $1000 grand prize, Theatre Workshop encourages you to apply for the show!
