Rome wasn't built in a day. Check. And neither was Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Got that, too. But now you can see three years of construction on the new hospital occur right before your eyes--in less than two minutes--courtesy of this webcam time lapse video.
Who needs an official press release to make a major life-changing announcement? Not Dierks Bentley! Wednesday night, he announced, via Twitter that he and his wife will be adding to the Bentley family!
It's one of my favorite shows on television and it's killing me (pardon the pun) that this will be its last season. Just what does Season 8 of Showtime's Dexter have in store for its faithful fans. Take a look at the brand new sneak peak trailer of the show's finale season!
American Idol's version of the NCAA Final Four is underway and our four remaining contestants were singing for the Final Three last night. It was a night of big voices, even bigger disappoinments and an odd shift in judges' opinions. What did WBKR's Idol expert, Steve Thompson, think about the show?
Dogs, as the saying goes, are man’s best friend, so it's only right and logical that we might want to spend some quality time with our buds. Walks in the park and tossing the Frisbee on the beach are great, but if you really want to engage the human-canine relationship—and have a really good time while you’re at it—you might want to think about setting up a dog agility course in your backyard or garden.
Cue the Dixie horn, baby!
I am a child of the '80s, so like many others, I grew up with the Duke boys, Bo and Luke. But I'm not sure other people who watched 'The Dukes of Hazzard' are as obsessed with the star of the show as I am.
Despite the fact that the NCAA Basketball Championship happened more than two weeks ago, rabid college hoops fans still have plenty over which to salivate here in the heart of spring.
If you've ever been to our studios, then you know to never be surprised at what you'll see. Normally, there are some type of party decorations dangling from the ceiling from a birthday party no less than six months ago. For some reason, it appears that Santa Clause got stuck in the roof, because his leg is hanging from the celing tile. And, who can forget the floor to ceiling blue carpet on the walls?!?! Ha! So, it takes a lot to surprise me when I walk into work every morning.
Well, when I walked into work on Thursday, I was surprised. And, a little confused!
I've seen this link all over my facebook news feed, but just now watched it. KMart's "Ship My Pants" is one of the funniest commercials ever! And, with over 15 million views on youtube, looks like I'm not the only one who finds this hilarious!
If you haven't seen it yet, stop what you're doing and watch it!! You'll thank me, haha! Oh, you can "ship your pants" too!
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of my favorite places in the world. It is a place of hope for children and their families that one day, childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases will be a thing of the past. St. Jude makes sure that patients have everything they need to fulfill their dreams!
On Thursday night, during the NFL Draft, one patient will get to experience an amazing dream come true!
Up, Down and Dirty For a Cure is in the books! And Owensboro's first-ever Mud Run was a HUGE hit. Hundreds tackled the boot camp-inspired course last weekend at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort and a handful blazed through it. While I ran the course, kissed the ground at the finish line, then immediately ran to the Atmos Energy grill to get a hamburger, others took the course VERY seriously. And they just KILLED it! Check out the full list of winners and our complete Mud Run Photo Gallery!
