And, no. I am not kidding. I thought this was the perfect story for Weirdo Wednesdays, one of the new features Brett and I have on The CB Radio Show. And I have to admit. It doesn't get stranger than this. Did you know there was a new "minty-fresh" alternative to toilet paper?
Marching band changed my life when I got to high school. It was fun, it was hard work, and, it was all about one of my favorite things in the world, music! Best of all, the friends I made and the lessons I learned are invaluable, and I will carry them with me for the rest of my life. Both Owensboro Catholic HS and Apollo HS will host their annual marching band contests on Saturday. You should really try go to one or both!
The Owensboro Catholic ACES opened the flood gates in the second half against the South Spencer Rebels, winning convincingly 51 - 25. The ACES took control early off a Ray Zuber touchdown on the first possession, and didn't look back, despite a Rebel rally late in the first half
If you're already missing summer in Kentucky, then this isn't going to help. And if, like me, you're a much bigger fan of autumn, well, just picture all the greenery in shades of red, orange, yellow, and gold.
It takes a pretty confident person to film part of their music video in the shower and it appears that Brett Eldredge is that guy. (And, I'm totally ok with it!) Brett's latest single, Mean To Me, is a fabulous 7th grade slow-dance and the video only makes me love it more. Or maybe it's the shower scene or that heck of a man rockin' that suit! Either way, you'll love it too!
Today marked yet another first on the CB Radio Show. Today was MALL WALKERS! This is where we take the CB Radio to the Towne Square Mall and do our best to get to know the people that are lapping the store fronts
The Hunger Games is amazing, and I've been waiting for the official trailer to come out. For the past few months they have been releasing President Snow's addresses. But it looks like it's finally time to see whats going on in the districts
Last week, Dave Spencer, Jaclyn and I were commenting about how Jake Owen has begun to look a little bit like Severus Snape from the Harry Potter movies. And that got me thinking. What would the Harry Potter movies have been like if country music stars had been cast in some of the lead roles? I think I've come up with a pretty good idea. Look!
