United Airlines overbooked a flight from Chicago to Louisville late Sunday night forcing them to ask four volunteers to give up their seats in exchange for an $800 incentive.

The seats were needed to transport for United crew members.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, none of the passengers volunteered to leave the airplane.

United then turned to random computer selection.

The couple that was selected first left the airplane.

The man chosen next refused to give up his seat.

According to Yahoo! News, the United Contract of Carriage details policies regarding passengers who are not allowed to board overbooked flights but doesn't really cover procedure involved in removing passengers from overbooked flights.
