Payless Shoe Stores Reportedly Filing for Bankruptcy [VIDEO]

Sears, Kmart, JC Penny and Macy’s announced major store closings this year and now another retailer is reportedly in trouble. Are you a shoe lover like me? One major shoe retailer could be closing some stores.

Bloomberg reported that Payless will reportedly be filing for bankruptcy very soon. What will that mean for our Payless Stores in the tri-state? This seems to be uncertain. WBKR reached out for comment, with no response, so we are only left to wait and wonder. They reportedly could close 400-500 stores as it goes through the restructure.
