The labor pains are over in England!  Literally and figuratively.  LOL!   Last week on vacation, I met Lynn from Scotland and she, like millions of others in Great Britain, were on high alert with the Royal Family Baby Watch!  Lynn was on vacation basking in the sun, but that didn't stop here from checking Twitter in between cocktails.  Finally though, the wait is over!! (Cheers, Lynn!  Have another cocktail!)  The stork is here and Prince William and Kate Middleton have a bouncing baby boy.

According to Kensington Palace, William and Kate's little lad was born at 4:24pm and weighs 8 pounds, 6 ounces.  The name of the child has not yet been released, but I have a feeling it won't be long before that royal pronouncement is made.

On July 2, reporters started lining up outside St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington to prep for the baby's birth, with parking suspensions around the hospital in effect until the end of the month. Kate FINALLY went into labor earlier today.  As Lynn from Scotland put it, Kate "was due July 13th.  We can't wait much longer!"

Well, for Royal Watchers, the wait is officially over.  The Prince of Cambridge is here!  All babies "crown," but this one gives that phrase a whole new meaning.  This little guy will one day be king!
