Henderson native Kerry Kurt Phillips has an impressive resume. George Strait's "She Let Herself Go" and Tim McGraw's "Down on the Farm" are among the many huge hits he's written or co-written over the years.

Kerry will be sharing his talents and stories about those songs during the Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival which begins Wednesday night in Henderson.

In the meantime, Kerry stopped by the WBKR studios to share some of those stories with us on Wednesday afternoon. We spotlighted four of his most memorable tunes.
