It was three years ago when country legend Randy Travis suffered a debilitating stroke and came very close to dying. But he's been through a whirlwind of rehabilitation and, earlier this week, was on hand to accept a very high honor.

In fact, it's county music's highest honor.

Joining Charlie Daniels and industry mogul Fred Foster, Randy Travis was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

While struggling with his speech, and with the help of his wife Mary Davis, Travis walked to the podium to accept his induction (and it was great to see him laugh):
