Reid’s Orchard Among Kentucky’s Top Ten Orchards

Count me among the lifelong fans of Reid's Orchard on Highway 144 in Owensboro. I remember when the Apple House was a tiny thing and you couldn't get more than a few people in it.

So it was very awesome to see the news that Reid's has been named as one of the ten best orchards in the Commonwealth of Kentucky by kentuckytourism.com.

Certainly, I'd like to "sample" the other ones that made the list that are in places like Versailles, Georgetown, Harrodsburg, and elsewhere.

But as long as there's Reid's, the road trips won't have to be that long if you want to visit one of Kentucky's top ten orchards.
