I was a HUGE Prince fan.  Seriously.  In the mid 80's, I went to a flea market at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville and I bought a poster of Prince that was shellacked onto a piece of wood.  It was horrendous, but I loved it.  Because I loved Prince.  And I, like the rest of the world, is mourning the loss of this brilliant musician today.  For my taste, Prince has given us some of the best songs in the history of pop/rock.

It's difficult to find Prince videos on YouTube.  Prince took the "Garth Brooks" approach to sharing music on the Internet.  He just didn't.  So, it's very difficult to find videos featuring Prince's music.  But these are my absolute favorites.

#5- THE ARMS OF ORION (w/ Sheena Easton)

#4-  I WOULD DIE 4 U

#3-  WHEN DOVES CRY

#2- LITTLE RED CORVETTE

#1-  PURPLE RAIN

"Purple Rain" is literally one of my favorite songs of all-time.  It hypnotizes me from the moment I hear the first guitar chord of the song.

Prince died today at the age of 57.  I know this line will be used by many folks in the press, but it's the best line to write.  This is what it sounds like . . . when doves cry.
