It's been a tough couple of years for the former Kentucky, then Louisville coach. Rick Pitino will coach again, but it won't be stateside.

Pitino has accepted a head coaching job in Greece where he is finalizing a deal to coach the Euro League team Panathinaikos. He's expected to be coaching his first game on December 27th.

Pitino was fired at Louisville in the aftermath of the FBI probe into college basketball. Testimony and recordings of government-taped calls suggested that Pitino was unaware of the payments made to former Louisville recruit Brian Bowen's family.

He's coached in the NBA twice, first with the Knicks, then the Celtics.

Pitino won NCAA titles at Kentucky in 1996 and at Louisville in 2013. The latter title was vacated as part of the punishment for the university's involvement in the FBI probe.
