RiverPark Center And Legendary Entertainment Present Lorrie Morgan

The RiverPark Center and Legendary Entertainment Group present the Texaco Country Showdown and Lorrie Morgan! The event will take place Saturday, October 27th at the RPC.

The Texaco Country Showdown is the largest and longest running County Music talent search in the nation. It has been introducing some of the best undiscovered Country Music talent to the world since 1982.

The Texaco Country Showdown is a four-level competition beginning in the spring where contestants compete at events sponsored by their local Country Music radio station. Local winners then advance to the state level with the opportunity to compete at one of five Regional events. Regional winners win an all-expense trip to the National Final at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee! There, before a live audience, five aspiring Country Music artists will try to win the grand prize of $100,000.00 and the title of "Best New Act in Country Music!"

The show at the RPC is the state competition. Lorrie Morgan, a true legend in country music, will be performing after the conclusion of the competition.
