I guess you could say being a country music legend is in this lady's genes. After all she IS the daughter of Johnny Cash. Of course, that's not all.

Rosanne Cash lit up the 80s with 16 top ten hits and 11 number one songs.

A chip off the old block, indeed.

Well, Friday night, Rosanne Cash is bringing the family magic to the Henderson Fine Arts Center for a 7PM performance.

Tickets are available by calling 270-831-9800 or by going to haaa.org/tickets.

Through Thursday, I'll have your chance to win tickets with the Rosanne Cash Song of the Day. And when it's played, the first three callers to 926-WBKR or 1-800-844-WBKR will win!

On a personal note, Rosanne is one of my all-time favorite artists. Her music provided a stark contrast on 80s country radio. And the songs were so unbelievably well-written. Gems like "Blue Moon with Heartache," "Runaway Train," and "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me" (for which she won a Grammy). And, of course, there's her signature song "Seven Year Ache" which also crossed over to the pop charts.

Get your tickets now for Rosanne Cash, Friday night at 7 at the Henderson Fine Arts Center.

I'll leave you with this extraordinary number about family and mortality called "September When It Comes."

Enjoy:
