It seems that it's become typical of certain segments of society to assume the worst in a given situation. Take, for example, the Blake Shelton-Miranda Lambert divorce.

Unfounded rumors of infidelity have swirled around the two superstars since it was announced last week that they had finalized their divorce.

Unfounded.

I never saw one story that verified any of that kind of talk.

What I did find were tweets between Blake and Miranda displaying the kind of sense of humor we had come to expect from the couple in the best of times.

And, while this divorce may not be a "worst of times" situation for either of them, it couldn't have been the most pleasant thing that's ever happened.

But, here they are, getting along famously despite the nature of some who'd just as soon they go at each other's throats.

What's more, they plan to continue working together. No they won't be performing together at the We Fest in Minnesota next month, they will be at the same event. Neither backed out.

Eventually, I bet we get an interview in which Blake plans to "clear the air." It seems he's grown tired of people who have absolutely no clue what happened between them speculating about what happened between them.

Imagine that.
