Hurricane Isaac has now been downgraded to a tropical storm. And it never packed more than a Category 1 punch, but that was clearly plenty for enough folks who are currently dealing with the powerful storm's onslaught of rain.

You might think that since this storm was well below the strength level of Katrina that it would not be much to see on satellite imagery.

And you'd be wrong.

Check out this raw footage taken by the International Space Station from 253 miles above the earth.

By the way, that's the driving distance between Owensboro and Dayton OH...a furrr piece, as any number of my great aunts and uncles used to say.
