My hottie today is new-comer Maggie Rose. She has a super-smooth voice and I'm pretty much in love with her new single, "Better". May 17, 2013 8:14 AM Roxianne the Receptionist is always showing me funny videos at work. Yesterday, she was SO excited to show me four year-old Kai singing Bruno Mars. Well, I LOVE listening to little kids sing and I LOVE the Ellen Show, so I knew this would be right up my alley! Ok, he seriously may be the cutest little boy ever! You MUST watch how much he gets into this song, it's sure to make you laugh and smile!
Looks like Ellen loved little Kai too, because she asked him to come back and sing again! LOVE this kid! And, it appears that a little love connection is blooming between the toddler and Ellen, haha!

After seeing the devastation caused on that day, he decided that he wanted to do his part in helping he victims of the tragedy. With help from the Boston Medical Center, he founded the Spread the Love Fund to help those who needed prosthetic limbs and post-prosthetic care.

May 12, 2013 1:16 PM Actress Alicia Silverstone made headlines for telling the world that she "baby birds" her child. Ok, what the heck is "baby birding"?!? Haha! It's basically chewing up food in your mouth and giving it to your child. So, of course, while visiting the Precious Blood cooking team at the International BBQ Festival, this topic came up and ended with me "baby birding" Chad!
I DO NOT get paid enough to do the things that he makes me do, ha! I mean, what says "Mothers Day" quite like chewing up a pulled pork sandwich for your 40 year-old co-worker?!?

Now, we all know, there are a few things you're bound to see walking those downtown streets. May 10, 2013 8:58 AM I was SO excited when I got my Mother's Day gift from Carsyn that she'd been making at Preschool. I submitted a recipe to her school a few weeks ago, but didn't really know what it was for. Well, now I know... the kids made a recipe book for their Mom's for Mother's Day and I LOVE it!
The cover is a series of questions the kids answered about their Mom and the inside is the recipes from the Moms. There's also a section that reads this, "What is your favorite meal that your Mom cooks for you and how does she prepare it?"
Prepare yourself for some funny kid answers, haha!
May 9, 2013 11:13 AM I like to think that I don't drive and text. I like to think that I am a safe driver and keep distractions to a minimal. Truth is, I do sometimes send a quick "I'm on my way" or "LOL" response. I've seen the commercials pleading drivers to not text and drive. I was just behind a teenage girl yesterday and I could tell that she had both hands around the steering-wheel, texting away, driving down Frederica. This is not ok. We MUST STOP driving and texting!
Tim McGraw's latest single "The Highway Don't Care" is a beautiful song, I've loved it every since I heard it for the first time. Tim's video for this song acknowledges the problems with texting and driving and is a must see!
PLEASE watch this video and let's all STOP distracted driving!
May 8, 2013 8:57 PM Just when I think I can't love those crazy girls from the Pistol Annies anymore, there they go releasing the video for their latest single "Hush Hush"! This song is awesome (and Carsyn's latest favorite) and the video is absolutely perfect!
It's set in (what looks like) a country Southern Baptist Church. The girls even have some of their own family members in the video! Oh, how could I forget?!? Ashley Monroe even goes all "Cameron Diaz in every movie she's ever made" and does a little dancin in her panties! Ha!
