Snap Jackson & The Knock On Wood Players Kick Off ROMP 2012

Within ten minutes of being at Yellow Creek Park for ROMP, I had made a new friend. (I know, no one's shocked!) Being that it was a little toasty outside, I opted for the tank top/cutoffs/ WBKR hat combo for my remote broadcast.

When I walked backstage, a very nicely dressed gentleman took one look at me and said, "I wish I had on what you did." Or something like that. Ha! Turns out he was Snap Jackson of Snap Jackson & The Knock On Wood Players. Snap and the other three guys from the California based band were dressed to the nine's... dress pants, button-ups and ties. Yep, they looked fabulous!

But, more importantly than their perfectly-planned out fashion choices, they had the huge task of kicking-off ROMP 2012. And, I have to say, they rocked it out...bluegrass style!This was my first trip to ROMP and you can bet I'll be back. The music began at 5:00pm and the crowd was really beginning to file in as the boys continued their opening set. I was lovin this group so much that I decided to video some of their performance.
