Are you afraid of ghosts? Are you into spooky things? Then the Spirt of Rockport (IN) presented by TLC Pals for Paaws is just what you're looking for.

The 2nd Annual Spirt of Rockport Tours: Bringing History to Life! will introduce you to colorful characters and ghostly spirits. Included on the walking tour: the historic Rockport Inn, the notorious hanging tree, Old Brown's Tavern-a visit from Mr. Lincoln, Civil War tales, murders, mysteries, and a few surprises. This special event will take place Friday, September 12, and Saturday, September 13.

Bill Miller, founder of the Southern Indiana Paranormal Investigators will be set up as well as tarot card reader Carrolee Mayhugh. Tour groups of 10 maximum will depart from outside The Rockport Inn every 30 minutes and the tours will last for 30 minutes. They will start at 6:30p each night and the last tour each night will depart at 10:30p. Tickets are $9.00 per person and they are being sold on Main St. or by calling 812-649-2664 or 812-455-4475. Tarot card readings by Carrolee will take place 10a-10p on Friday and 4p-10p on Saturday ($10 for 10 mintues, $20 for 20 minutes, and $30 for 30 minutes). Also back this year, craft booths for your browsing and shopping pleasure.

100 percent of the proceeds from the Spirit of Rockport will benefit TLC Pals 4 Paaws, a local registered non-profit animal rescue/pet sanctuary based in in south Spencer County.
