When Butler County, KY, resident Robert Cunningham was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, his mother Kim had no idea that she would hold St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her heart for a different reason than she ever imagined.

Robert was diagnosed when he was only 12-years-old and his particular type of cancer was very rare. He was just the sixth person in the history of the hospital with a particular mutation. His battle with cancer lasted three years and Robert suffered some terrible side-effects and complications from the treatment.

Kim says without a doubt that St. Jude allowed her extra time with her son. Though she lost her son when he was 15, she's committed to St. Jude and uses the expression, "That's why I Jude" whenever she speaks about the hospital.

This song is for Robert.
