Hey guys, Brandon here with my first "official" blog. Alright, in the interest of full disclosure I'm not really that new to WBKR. I've been rocking a mic for The Country Station since November 2013. However, I am brand, spakin' new to the wonderful world of blogging. They say, you gotta jump in with both feet right, so here goes nothing!

So, what can I tell you that's going to make you take a second look and get you to join my ever growing fan club? Well, I grew up in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and actually lived about 15 minutes away from the one the only, Brett Wharf, though we never crossed paths until working together at WBKR/WOMI. I moved to Owensboro in 2000 and graduated from Daviess County High School in 2005. After four years of good times in college, I graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a B.S in Communications and have been up and down your radio dial for almost eight years. I've loved every minute of it.

What makes me unique you ask? Well, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy shortly after I was born and use a wheelchair to get around but I will put my mic skills up against anyone. Well, guy's, I've taken up enough of your time I'm very excited to be able to interact with you through our site. And anytime you see me, stop and say hi!
