The Daviess County Lion’s Club Fairgrounds will host a fundraiser Friday afternoon to help two sweet little boys who need our help!

These two sweet boys know a life of doctors, surgeries, x-rays, needles and suffer daily, but they still live life to the fullest. They’re fighting a fairly rare, but progressive and fatal genetic disorder. It’s called Mitochondrial Disease which depletes the energy in the body and causes the body’s system to shut down. Both boys spend multiple days with doctors and in hospitals which has put a financial strain on the family as you can imagine. They still have a very long road ahead.

There’s a fundraiser happening Friday afternoon from 4-7 at the Daviess County Lion’s Club Fairgrounds to raise money for this family to alleviate the costs of travel to numerous states for care, doctor appointments, medications, and providing the best quality of life possible for these little boys fighting a huge fight.

The event will have Dr. Popper performing a magic show and doing balloon animals, Casey’s Rides will provide a bouncy house and other FUN surprises, and there will be an ambulance and fire truck to explore! From 4:30-6:30 there will be pony rides and a petting zoo.  Donation required to enter.  Food and cotton candy will be available for purchase, as well as feed cups for the petting zoo.

Head to the Daviess County Lion’s Club Fairgrounds Friday afternoon and help raise money for this wonderful family that needs our help!
