Superman The Movie Is 35 Years Old [VIDEO]

Before the power went out at my apartment the first time Friday night, I happened upon one of my favorite movies, the original Superman. Yes, this blockbuster was released December 10th, 1978, almost 35 years ago. If you haven't seen the new Superman saga Man of Steel, you may want to revisit this classic.

I don't care what anyone says, but the late Christopher Reeve will always be my Superman. I was asking my parents which Superman was their favorite, Mom agreed with me, but Dad was partial to Superman TV actor George Reeves.

I will say Henry Cavil, the new Superman, is impressive, and Man of Steel is a special-effects dream. You'll have to decide for yourself.
