It just got real!  As you all know, the last two years, Jaclyn and I helped raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with an event called Sweatin' for St. Jude.  And, on two different occasions, we walked/ran 50 miles on side-by-side treadmills at the Owensboro Family YMCA.  Well, this year, we're going even bigger.  And, two weeks from today, our journey begins in Memphis!

Yep!  That's right.  Two weeks from today we are climbing atop two road bikes (provided to us generously by Legends in Owensboro) and we're riding 300 miles- from the entrance of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis to the starting line of the Moonlight Ride in downtown Owensboro.  300 miles.  4 days.  2 bikes.  One mission!

And stay tuned!  You'll be able to cheer us along the whole way.  We'll have daily updates on the air at WBKR, WBKR.com and the WBKR Facebook page.  And we'll have a special text-to-donate line set up for our ride!

And, on Friday, June 3rd, we'll roll into town and finish our journey at the opening ceremonies of the Moonlight Ride, which is Owensboro's ride to benefit St. Jude.

Sweatin' for St. Jude 2016 is presented by Window World!  Stay tuned.  It's going to be a bumpy ride!  LOL!
