Grand Ole Opry, Here We Come!

A few weeks ago, Chad says to me, "How would you like to do your show from the Grand Ole Opry June 7th?" The answer was a simple, "Uh, yeah!" Twist my arm, right? Can't wait to see everybody who makes the trip down this week for the CMA Music Fest, the festival formerly known as Fan Fair. And, wow! It just now hit that it will mark kind of an anniversary for me.

As I was thinking of some songs to play this Memorial Day, a few obvious ones came to mind like "Some Gave All" by Billy Ray Cyrus, "God Bless the U.S.A." by Lee Greenwood, "American Soldier" by Toby Keith, and "If You're Reading This" by Tim McGraw. That was off the top of my head. Then I started looking through our library and found some great ones I had forgotten all about.

In the movies bank heists always include cool masks. Like for instance, the Joker in "The Dark Knight", clown masked his comrades in crime. I've seen the presidential rubber masks and even those semi- transparent human face masks...those really creep me out. The thing is you usually don't use outdated hair dos to hide your true identity, that is of course, until the mullet bandit arrived.
