After reading this charming story from our friends at tasteofcountry.com, I thought I wonder who'd play Chad or me in a  movie. They quoted Carrie as saying, in a recent interview with KO Video, Underwood said that if she could choose one actress to play her role in a biopic, it would be Reese Witherspoon.

You can’t keep a ‘Good Girl’ down. Congrats to country queen Carrie Underwood on yet another platinum certification, this time for ‘Good Girl,’ the first single from ‘Blown Away.’ According to a press release from Underwood’s reps, the song has been certified platinum by the RIAA, meaning it has sold more than 1 million digital downloads.

I am SO jealous!  Our good friend, Vicki Ellis from the Western Ky Regional Blood Center, and her husband, Jimbo, are in Las Vegas.  And, last night, they were at the MGM Grand for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.  Yep!  They got to watch . . . in person.  And that photo!  That was taken from Vicki's seats.  How cool is that?  They were there for all the performances and all the trophies.  In case

Tonight ‘Dancing with the Stars’ goes country with Carrie Underwood performing her hit, ‘Good Girl.’ When major artists have  new projects, their media handlers sche3dule as many appearances in as short a period of time as they can. Thus, this is one of many media blitz moments this month for the singer.

This happens pretty frequently.  A star releases a song that sounds so incredibly similar to another that suspicions and eyebrows are raised.  Most recently, this happened to Dierks Bentley with his song "Home."  A singer-songwriter named Jason Isbell started pointing fingers and claiming that Bentley and company lifted the chorus of their hit single from his song, "In A Razor Town.
