I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream, right? Well, tonight on Celebrity Apprentice everyone's going to be screaming as we crown a brand new champion. For the last challenge, Donald Trump's finalists, Vegas magician and mastermind Penn Jillette and country music superstar Trace Adkins, had to develop a brand new flavor of ice cream for the new Walgreens DeLish brand. Penn Jillette concocted a new flavor called Vanilla and Chocolate Magic Swirtle. Trace came up with the Maple Macadamia Mash Up. Here at WBKR, thanks to a special ice cream delivery from our friend April Faught, we decided to put them to a good old-fashioned taste test. WATCH!

Back in the day, Kelly G used to harp on me to try and get me to watch Celebrity Apprentice. I finally gave in and quickly learned what she already knew. It's one of the BEST reality shows on television. Throw in B, C or D-List celebrities, their huge egos, incredibly difficult fundraising tasks, and Donald Trump's hair flapping in the boardroom, and you have what NBC used to call "Must see TV!" Celebrity Apprentice is my FAVORITE show on television. And I will admit that I was secretly hoping that Donald Trump would give up his run for the presidency just because I didn't want him to quit doing this show. I know that sounds ridiculous and isn't exactly civic-minded of me . . . but Celebrity Apprentice is GREAT! And here's why. You take celebrities with giant egos, throw them onto opposing teams, make them work together with other giant egos to accomplish tasks in order to make money for the charities of their choice and you have . . . drum roll, please . . . disasters waiting to happen! Histoically, this show has given us some CRAZY and highly entertaining throwdowns. Take a look!

Over the years, as WBKR has become more and more involved with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, I never cease to be amazed at the overwhelming and generous involvement with this cause by country stars. Within the last week we've seen John Rich move heaven and earth to win Celebrity Apprentice so he can donate as much money as possible to St. Jude's. And Brad Paisley's new CD contains the song "One of Those Lives" about a family whose child is a St. Jude's patient. And, now I've learned of a new organization that lets musicians--all musicians-- give the one thing that no one else can--their God-given talents.

John Rich has gone where Bret Michaels, Piers Morgan and Joan Rivers have gone before him. The country singer joined that trio by winning the 'The Celebrity Apprentice' Sunday night, beating out fellow finalist Marlee Matlin.

For his victory, Rich took home $250,000 for his charity, and WBKR's favorite, too -- St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I don't like to talk politics on these pages, but I think this news supercedes any political philosophies just because of its noteworthiness. Donald Trump, as you may know, has decided he will not run for president. And this will come as very good news to--among others--fans of Celebrity Apprentice, a show he could not continue if he ran.

If you are John Rich, right about now you need to be pulling your cellular out of your big old fur coat and calling 911! On last night's episode of Celebrity Apprentice, Star Jones (who I like to now refer to as "Satan's Sister") made a very interesting and personal admission. She LOVES her some John Rich! And, the girl ain't even playin'! Given the fact that this show has made me a huge fan of John Rich and I now consider us to be friends, I feel like, as his new BFF, I owe him some advice. Use your short little legs, brother man, and head for the hills!! Pronto!!!!! Star Jones, like crack, is WHACK!

Celebrity Apprentice: The Final Four

This season of Celebrity Apprentice has been FULL of massive throwdowns and fights. (And it has been freakin' AWESOME!!) First, the ladies railed against that shrew Dionne Warwick and got her sent home. Then, Meatloaf snapped on that fruitcake Gary Busey and nearly ripped his head off! And, then . . . NeNe Leakes got all up in Star Jones' face and told her she was going to take her down! As Star cowered under the oppression of a Real Housewife of Atlanta, NeNe asked the question heard round the world, "Now, where's Barbara Walters?" (That moment was ghetto-fabulous and I've told all my friends I'm gonna get that catchphrase on a T-shirt!) This season has been HILARIOUS and the stage is set for an epic fight to the finish. And country star John Rich is STILL in the mix! And, by golly, he's a contender!

Are you all watching Celebrity Apprentice? If not, you've gotta tune in! There have already been some major fireworks this season (In one hilarious episode, Meatloaf nearly ripped the head off of that lunatic Gary Busey!!) and even more fireworks are brewing! We're talking major, Thunder Over Louisville fireworks! See, on last night's episode, John Rich and the men beat the women in a challenge to design a 4-page ad for the Trump Hotel chain. In edging he women for victory, John earned another $20,000 for St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital and stopped a losing skid the men had been suffering for weeks. On the women's side, however, the claws are coming out and a big old nasty storm is brewing! And I cannot wait . . .

If you have ever tuned into The WBKR Waking Crew and caught one of my John Rich rants, you know that I refer to him as the Travelocity Gnome and give him grief for wearing full-length fur coats! In fact, I remember cringing when I heard he was joining the latest cast of Celebrity Apprentice. But you know what? John Rich is THE MAN and I am eating a plate full of crow!
