September Is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month [AUDIO]
September 16, 2012 I've been wanting to write about this topic for the last two weeks, but I'll be honest...I was intimidated. As the mother of a healthy little girl, I didn't want to come across in the wrong way or say the wrong thing. I was afraid that my words wouldn't be enough. But, then I realized that it's not about what I say, but what just talking about childhood cancer can accomplish. The more we bring awareness to this monster that cancer is, the more lives that can be saved and the more dreams that will come true.
