While Jaclyn was lurking around the CMA Music Fest's Bud Light stage and drooling over country newcomer and Survivor:Nicaragua runner-up Chase Rice, I ditched her to catch my favorite bluegrass act in action on the Transitions Stage. And The Cleverlys didn't disappoint. The boys known for hilarious and uber-twangy covers of songs like "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and "I Gotta Feeling" kicked their set off right and tore into Psy's international hit "Gangnam Style." And I had the camera rolling. This is GREAT!

Last week in Nashville, Jaclyn and I saw dozens and dozens of country music artists singing live. For me, no one was better than Kip Moore. He absolutely rocked it out in an acoustic set at the HGTV Lodge downtown. And Jac and I were there to catch his performance. CMA Music Fest is a great way to introduce yourself to new artists. I first heard of Chase Rice on Twitter and found out a few things... He co-wrote Florida Georgia Line's number one hit, "Cruise", he has a crazy underground-almost-Brantley Gilbert fan base and he's pretty easy on the eyes. (What, like you didn't see that coming from me, haha!)

So, Chad and I decided to check out his set on the Bud Light Stage Friday afternoon and caught up with him after the show. (PS... he puts on a heck of a show and I have a feeling he'll be on your local radio station very soon!)

It's no secret how much I'm lovin Florida Georgia Line...they're nice, they're fun and I LOVE their music! So, when I was planning our CMA Fest schedule of shows, there was one that I wasn't going to miss, haha!

Chad and I were able to catch a very intimate acoustic performance from the boys inside the HGTV "Lodge" on Friday and we managed to get a video of them singing their latest single, "Round Here".

The Lodge was rockin and the boys were awesome! Check it out! (Disclaimer: I get VERY excited, haha!)

The 41st Annual CMA Music Fest just wrapped up a week ago in Nashville and it was another sell-out year. Just about every country music superstar and up-and-comer you can name was in Music City meeting with fans and entertaining crowds. And this is really cool. Skylar Cain, a 9-year-old country gal from Philpot (just outside Owensboro), was there too! She got to sing at the Nashville Palace and her mom sent us some shots of Skylar in action. Take a look!

You may not like this. The 41st annual CMA Music Festival is coming up June 7th through the 10th in Nashville and there's going to be a big change to the event's autograph policies. In the past, fans (thousands of them) would line up and camp for the chance to snag the autograph of their favorite artist. This year, you won't be able to. The CMA has decided to institute a lottery of sorts. So, here's how it's gonna work.

Two years ago at the Opry Plaza Party to kick off the CMA Music Festival, Jaclyn was 18 months pregnant. In fact, I'm pretty certain that Carsyn was crowning here at the show that made country music famous. See, Jaclyn and I brought cornhole boards down to Nashville and challenged folks to a little "friendly" competition. Despite the fact that Jaclyn's stomach looked like something out of the movie Alien, we were amazing. We played all day long and only lost TWICE!!! We are MASTERS of this game . . . or so we thought!
