Congrats to these three country music history makers!

On April 1, 1967, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opened in Nashville, Tenn.

The new exhibit showcases the Kentucky native's journey to superstardom.

Sunday was a big day for country music fans as Randy Travis was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Three years after suffering a life-threatening stroke, he shocked the crowd, picked up the mic and this happened.

It was three years ago when country legend Randy Travis suffered a debilitating stroke and came very close to dying. But he's been through a whirlwind of rehabilitation and, earlier this week, was on hand to accept a very high honor.

I've been to the Country Music Hall of Fame twice. Shame on me, I know, for not getting down there more often. But my most recent visit was just last summer. I will most definitely pick up the pace. And here's why:

I have no clue, but I'm guessing having your own exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum would feel pretty dang good. Miranda Lambert will soon find out just what that feels like. The 'Automatic' singer will soon have her own exhibit, Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access set to open May 16th, 2014 and running through November 9th, 2014. Road trip, anyone?!?

Will 2014 be the year that country music legend Dottie West finally gets inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Creators and administrators on one particular Facebook page sure hope so.  In fact, they're doing everything they can to rally support and make the dream a reality.

Kris Kristofferson has done it all.  He grew up in a military family, he was a Gold Gloves boxer, studied writing, he's a legendary songwriter ("Sunday Morning Coming Down", "Me and Bobby McGee", "Help Me Make it Through the Night"), and he's a terrific actor.  In fact...

Reba McEntire will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this fall and she deserves it. For 36 years the Oklahoma redhaired beauty has made hit after hit.
