About a month ago, I received a notice in the mail from a collection agency.  A COLLECTION AGENCY!!!! It was in reference to a phone bill from AT&T. Uh, I had just paid my AT&T bill and was current. So I was clueless.

Back in November, I did a remote broadcast from Terry's Tees on West 4th to kick off our "O Christmas Tee" campaign. While there, I admired Terry's ultra-cool high school t-shirt designs. And I mentioned I graduated from Daviess County High School. That was a good thing.

Walking through the back hallway of WBKR I heard Jaclyn playing Conway Twitty's classic "I'd Love to Lay You Down." Clearly, I had to haul it over to the studio and join in.

My birthday was Saturday, and for years now, I've told everyone I want nothing for my birthday. Most are happy to comply. Most, that is, except for my mother who told me upon hearing that request, "That decision is not up to you." So she still gets me a birthday gift. You know moms. Anyway, this year she wasn't the only one.

It's a new feature (I hope) here at wbkr.com. It's called "Dinner with Dave." And today, to my pleasant surprise, I was greeted with the news that my first such meal would be homemade egg rolls, courtesy of our very own digital doyenne, Ashley Sollars.
